Save this recipe because this one pot easy dum keema tastes exactly like the restaurant and the beautiful part is, it uses minimal ingredients and you can control how much oil/ghee/butter you are using! Enjoy with paratha, naan or my favorite almond flour tortillas and you got yourself the perfect iftaar or dinner party meal!
Ingredients:
1/2 packet Shan Seekh kabob masala
1 lb lean ground beef
1 tablespoon yogurt (can sub dairy free)
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
1 cup water
2 tablespoons Desi ghee or butter (can sub plant based oil if dairy free)
2 tablespoons grated ginger
1 tablespoon finely chopped Serrano peppers
1 handful of coarsely chopped cilantro
Directions:
Place stove on medium heat
In a small pot, add keema (ground beef), yogurt, ginger garlic paste, Shan Seekh Kabob Masala and water. Mix together
Allow to cook on low-medium heat
When the keema is cooked, add butter or Desi ghee, ginger, peppers, and cilantro
Mix and cover on low heat for 5 minutes
Turn stove off and enjoy π«Άπ½
